Daily Livestream and Online Archana

While the Temple is still in the process of returning to normal procedures, we will still offer online darshan and archana request. Please see below for details. To register to come for darshan in person, please visit the Darshan Registration page.

Online Darshan Via Daily Livestream

Livestream of the Temple is now available starting from Morning Puja until 8:30 PM every day. You can access the livestream here:

The mantra playing continuously in the Temple is Sri Chandi Navakshari Mantra, which is a very powerful mantra. We are offering this mantra recording for free download. You can choose which file type you’d like to download:

Chandi Navakshari Mantra (MP3)
Chandi Navakshari Mantra (WMA)

Puja Schedule

The regular pujas and homas will still be performed in the Temple, but with a very limited number of volunteers and a small schedule change. Morning puja (Mon-Fri) may start at either 8:30AM, 9AM, or 9:30AM. Other pujas will start at the usual time. All private sponsored pujas or homas are canceled until further notice.

Dhanvantari Homa and Online Archana/Sponsorship

Starting from this Saturday, Sri Dhanvantari Homa will be performed every Saturday for healing. You can be included in the sankalpam by using the form link below and selecting “Saturday Puja and Homa.”

You can still request archana or sankalpam for daily puja, Saturday Puja and Homa, Pradosha Puja, and Purnima Navavarana Homa. Given the difficulties many are experiencing, we are offering sponsorships for these programs by donation.

To request archana or sankalpam, please fill out this form:

If you like, you can choose to make a donation at srividya.org/donate.

Stay at Home, Pray at Home ~ Online Learning Resources

As many of us are required to stay at home and cannot pray in Sri Devi’s physical presence, this is an ideal time to focus on our home practice of prayer or chanting. For learning resources, please visit our Pray at Home resources page.

Community Support Measures

Food Assistance: Even though the Temple will close to the public, we still wish to support the community by providing food assistance to the elderly, children, students, and anyone else who needs a meal. If you need a meal, call the temple (585-533-1970) or email us at info@srividya.org by 11 AM every day to let us know. We can have boxed meals for pickup at the Temple (6980 E River Road, Rush NY) by 1:30 PM. In the event that you do not have transportation, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Assistance for the Elderly: Many elderly and medically vulnerable people have been advised to stay at home and avoid public locations. We would like to extend a helping hand to any seniors who need milk, groceries, and other basics from the store. Please call the temple (585-533-1970) or email us at info@srividya.org if you or someone you know needs assistance and we will do our best to help.
