Cabin Construction Update - Feb 25, 2008

Dear Devotee,
 
As you may have noticed and in most cases contributed as well, the cabin has been constructed by Devi's grace and has already seen much value added use. The construction would not have been possible without the generous and wholehearted contributions of you, dear devotee.
 
Nevertheless in projects of this kind the construction of the building is simply the first phase. There is considerable interior work outstanding in the following areas:
 
  • Construction of a removable partition that will allow the cabin to be split in two in order to accommodate both male and female attendees of the Annual Saivite Immersion program held during the summer.
  • Construction of a sun-room that allows devotees attending the various events held in the cabin, to deposit their jackets and footwear.
  • Other interior improvements such as audio, video and lighting equipment allowing the cabin to be used as a concert facility for the many musical and dance events that the temple sponsors each year. Other uses of this multi-use facility include wedding hall, auditorium, etc, that require considerable tiling and carpeting work.
 
Once again let us reiterate that the cabin would not have been possible without your generous donations and our grateful and heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed in every way. As you can see we continue to need your support to complete the above improvements to the cabin. Once again please donate generously and may Devi's grace be with you always.
